The prefectural capital is the Miyazaki city.

The Miyazaki prefecture is located in the southeast end in Kyushu. The east is the Pacific Ocean. Moreover, it is in contact with Oita Prefecture, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Kagoshima Prefecture.
